AVR Self-locking Safety Chucks

The AVR Self-locking Safety Chuck is designed for the locking and rotation of expanding air shafts at any operating speed.

Their design is unmatched in the current market.

The key technical feature lies in the fact that the bearings supporting the expanding shaft are mounted directly on the shaft journals. The bearings are locked inside the chuck with zero clearance, eliminating vibration.

When the shaft starts rotating, the AVR chuck does not rotate with the shafts but automatically closes over the bearings and can only be opened to safely lift the shaft.

AVR chucks can be opened manually or pneumatically.

The operator is never exposed to rotating components.

Available in 3 models, flange mounted or foot-mounted, in fixed version or with axial adjustment (+/- 25mm), with fixed or sliding traction journal.
